Our Community Guidelines outline the standards for respectful, safe, and responsible behavior when using YouHook.

Welcome to YouHook! To keep the platform safe, trustworthy, and fair for everyone, we ask that all users follow these guidelines when using YouHook. Violating these rules may result in warnings, restrictions, or removal from the platform.

1. Respect and Fair Use

  • Treat all users with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or foul language is not tolerated.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally. Any form of hate speech, threats, or abusive behavior is strictly prohibited.
  • Only use the YouHook messaging system for all rental-related conversations. Do not communicate outside of YouHook regarding rentals.

2. Listing and Renting Items

  • You may only list items that you own or have permission to rent out.
  • Do not post or attempt to rent stolen, found, or illegal items.
  • Items requiring a license or special permits to rent (such as firearms, hazardous materials, prescription drugs, or certain vehicles) are not allowed on YouHook.
  • Do not list fake or non-existent items for rent.

3. Payments and Transactions

  • Use only your own payment information when renting an item. Do not use stolen or unauthorized payment details.
  • Owners must respond to rental requests in a timely manner. Accepting a rental and ignoring the renter is not allowed.

4. Rental Responsibilities

  • Renters must return items on time and in the same condition they received them.
  • Late returns may result in fees, and failure to return an item may lead to legal action.
  • Owners and renters must resolve disputes respectfully and follow YouHook’s claim process.

5. Account Integrity

  • Each user may only have one account. Creating multiple accounts or impersonating others is not allowed.
  • YouHook requires valid government-issued identification to create an account.

6. Trust and Safety

  • If you suspect fraudulent activity or rule violations, report it to YouHook support immediately.
  • Any attempts to scam, mislead, or abuse the platform will result in account suspension or removal.

By using YouHook, you agree to follow these guidelines to keep the platform a safe and reliable place for everyone. Violating these rules may result in penalties, including removal from YouHook.
